Should I check to make sure there aren't any lose screws or anything? I am not sure if it could be something with that. Finally, it may also be worth noting that I just recently put in a new hard drive (well technically I put in a new one, then when the old one got fixed, I put the old one back in). It is worth noting that I ran the Apple Hardware Test but no errors were found. I hooked up my husband's external/dual monitor to it and that works fine and does not go out when I tilt the screen, so I think that is a good sign? However, when I was looking at it again today, now I can extend it almost to 90 degrees which his good because it's easier to work from but the screen still goes black if I extended to 90 degrees or beyond. It is also interesting that this issue started over a week ago, and it would only work if the computer was at about 45-55 degree angle which is very hard to work at. I tried that, but I could not see the screen shining a flashlight on it. I have seen some people talking about whether you can see the screen faintly if you shine a flashlight on it. My MacBook Pro's screen goes black unless I tilt it to certain angles. I've done some poking around forums and haven't found an answer that fits my exact situation yet.
